Practice FAQs

Do you take insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance. I am an "out of network" non-participating provider. This means that I don't take insurance and that payment for services is rendered directly to the practice. It is helpful to ask your insurance company how out-of-network coverage is handled. I am happy to provide billing/coding sheets that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

**PLEASE NOTE** If you see my name on your insurance panel, it is an out of date listing and incorrect.

Appointments

  • A brief phone consultation is scheduled for clients seeking medication management and/or psychotherapy, as well as patients interested in  ketamine treatment

  • Once treatment has been established, future appointments are scheduled at the end of each session.

What is your cancellation policy?

Due to limited availability, I require 48 hours notice for cancellation, and I am happy to try to reschedule.

  • If you cancel with less than 48 hrs notice, your account will be billed for half of the session fee for the missed appointment.
  • For any same-day cancellation or missed appointment (aka “no show”), you will be billed for the full amount of the session. Please note that “no show” sessions cannot be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
  • **NOTE** Ketamine dosing sessions require 3 days notice for cancellation. See Ketamine therapy page for details

How often do you see patients?

I am flexible.

  • For medication management, I typically see people once a month, then every 2-3 months once their regimen is stable. If changes are made to their regimen, I request to see them more frequently
  • I recommend weekly sessions for psychotherapy, but I work with my clients on a schedule that suits their needs.

Ketamine Therapy

  • Dosing sessions are conducted weekly on Thursdays, in person.

How do you accept payment?

Credit/Debit or HSA/FSA cards are processed through the electronic health record ONLY. I do not accept cash, checks, Zelle, Venmo, or other forms of digital payment.

What should I bring to the first appointment?

  • A list of ALL your medications, including any vitamins or supplements you may be taking. If you have previous medical records, or recent lab work or medical records, please bring those as well.
